EDS 52 Pressure Level Meter
Absolute pressure meter for continuous level measurement in liquids. The high purity, long-term stable ceramic measurement cell is resistant against overload and vacuum.

Method
The ceramic membrane of the measuring cell detects the hydrostatic pressure caused by the liquid column. This pressure induces a change of the capacity of the measuring cell. The filling level can be determined from the height of the liquid column.

USS 80 Ultrasonic Level Meter

Advantages
Method
The sensor generates ultrasonic pulses which are reflected by surfaces. This echo is detected when it reaches the sensor. The distance of the object is calculated from the travel time of the ultrasonic signal. This measurement principle is suitable for most materials including liquids, as long as the sensor is installed in a right angle to the surface of the liquid.
