GIMAT, based in the greater Munich area, is the only ATAGO´s customer service center in Germany. We look after customers around the world for everything to do with ATAGO products: From the first application consultation, the purchase of a new device and regular calibrations to a possible repair after years of use of your high-quality ATAGO device. With our after-sales service, we support other ATAGO dealers in countries where there is no official ATAGO customer center. Hence, customers outside of Germany also benefit from GIMAT´s first-class technical service.
The processing of an order and its technical implementation take place entirely at GIMAT in Germany, by our ATAGO-trained team of electronics engineers, electrical engineers and chemists. This eliminates the hassle of custom formalities and high transport costs to and from Japan for customers within the EU. We are characterized by personal support and direct contact with your permanent contact person at GIMAT.
Regular product training ensures that we are always “up to date” and can provide you with the best possible support. Benefit from our direct line to ATAGO in Japan and its more than 80 years of experience in the development, manufacture and use of refractometers and other measuring devices for the analysis of liquids.
Maintenance and Repairs
When it comes to customer service, we are also the first address for many customers from all over Europe and even from outside. We would be happy to carry out an inspection and maintenance of your measuring device in our company. Especially where refractometers are used in production processes and high accuracy and reliability are required, many users from e. g. the chemical and pharmaceutical industry as well as companies for food production request our regular maintenance and calibration services.
If, despite the high quality of the ATAGO devices, a defect should occur, we also repiar devices that are getting on in years. And when things get tricky, our close connection to the Japanese colleagues from ATAGO helps us here. We will then repair your device and send it back to you as quickly as possible – at a fair price.
Calibration with Certificate on Request
The calibrations and repairs are carried out with regulary certified devices under controlled climate conditions in GIMAT´s own calibartion room. Therefore, we can issue a certificate for the calibration on request, which certifies the traceablility to national standards.
